New round of promotions in BDK’s offices in Serbia and Montenegro

BDK has announced the promotion of Ana Jankov in BDK’s Belgrade office and Luka Popović in BDK’s Podgorica office.

Ana Jankov, who joined BDK’s employment group in January 2013 as a senior associate, has quickly earned promotion to the Head of Employment practice due to her client management skills and ability to provide highly competent legal advice. In her new role, Ana will oversee employment practice in all three offices of BDK and continue to advise clients on all aspects of employment law. She will also continue to advise on data protection matters.

Ana joined BDK from the law firm Karanović & Nikolić. Prior to that, she was a senior legal consultant for four years at the legal arm of PwC in Belgrade, where she covered employment, corporate and commercial law matters. Ana is a member of the Serbian Bar Association. She is active in the Employment Committees of the American Chamber of Commerce and the Foreign Investment Council in Serbia. She is fluent in Serbian and English and also speaks Hebrew and Hungarian.

Luka Popović, who has been with the BDK Montenegro since May 2012, has been promoted to the position of managing senior associate. The promotion builds on Luka’s expertise in a wide range of matters in M&A, corporate and real estate fields and commercial law in general, and his ability to manage assignments.

Luka is a member of the Montenegrin Bar Association and is on the panel of arbitrators of the Arbitration Board for the Resolution of Consumer Disputes at the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro.

Managing partner Tijana Kojović said: “These promotions reflect high-quality service Ana and Luka provide to our clients and confirm our commitment to excellence.”
