Bogdan Ivanišević pens a book chapter and participates in a conference on IP & the Internet

Bogdan Ivanišević, Head of IP Practice in BDK Advokati/Attorneys at Law, authored a chapter in the “Intellectual Property and the Internet : domain names, copyright, trademarks” (Intelektualna svojina i Internet: nazivi internet domena, autorska dela, žigom zaštićene oznake), recently issued by the Publishing and Information Center of the Belgrade University School of Law. Ivanišević also took part in a conference held at the law school on 11 June 2015, during which he and the other authors presented their contributions to the book and discussed the book’s themes with the audience.

The chapter authored by Bogdan Ivanišević analyzes two major foreign decisions tackling the controversial issue of resale of copyright protected works in digital form, Capitol Records v. ReDigi (U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, 2013) and Oracle v. UsedSoft (Court of Justice of the European Union, 2012). The other chapters in the book are written by law professors Dušan Popović, Slobodan Marković, and Marko Jovanović, from the Belgrade University, Sanja Radovanović from the Novi Sad University, and Mario Reljanović from the Union University (Belgrade).
