BDK Advokati has contributed the Serbia chapter to the 2023 edition of Lexology Getting the Deal Through – Data Protection & Privacy (August 2022). The chapter presents the regulatory frameworks under Serbian data protection law which applies since August 2019. The law is modeled after the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Among other topics, the 2023 edition of the chapter elaborates on the issues of data minimisation, automated decision-making and profiling, accountability, risk assessments, and ‘sensitive’ data.
