BDK advised the online security company AVG Technologies on Serbian aspects of global acquisition of Privax, a leading provider of desktop and mobile privacy services for consumers. With this acquisition, AVG Technologies will be able to provide new and innovative privacy and security services to users world-wide. Under the terms of the agreement, AVG paid USD 40 million and will pay up to USD 20 million more in cash consideration one year after the closing subject to certain performance milestones.
Senior Partner Vladimir Dašić advised on corporate law and transactional aspects while the Head of Employment Practice Ana Jankov handled transitional employment matters and new management agreements.
