BDK welcomes associate Emina Zahirović to our Banja Luka office in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Emina obtained her LL.M. in International Law from the University of Westminster in 2013 with honors and an LL.B. from the Law School of the University of Sarajevo in 2011. She is a member of the Bar Society of the University of Westminster. While in London, she worked as an intern at Descartes Solicitors.
As a law student, Emina took an active part in a number of legal workshops and competitions organized in Bosnia and abroad. She was a trainer in the 2012 Regional Moot Court Competition in Human Rights in Serbia. In 2011, she led the Sarajevo MOOT Club as the chief prosecutor at MICC (Model of International Criminal Court) in Poland. In the 5th Regional Moot Court Competition in Human Rights organized in Macedonia in 2012, Emina was commended as the best state agent in a simulated case among 12 law schools.
Emina’s joining of BDK in Bosnia is a part of BDK’s plan to grow its office in Banja Luka and diversify the range of legal services we offer to clients in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
