Our partner and co-head of competition practice, Bisera Andrijašević, participated in the 8th TRADE Annual Conference and 12th Antitrust Annual Conference, “Doing business in transformed digital markets: Recent developments and lessons learned”, organised by the AIJA – International Association of Young Lawyers, held in Amsterdam from 9-11 October 2025.
Bisera spoke on the panel “VBER In Focus (deep dive on specific issues): Addressing Key Challenges and Specific Issues“, where she discussed some of the most complex questions arising from the application of the Vertical Block Exemption Regulation (VBER), particularly in relation to resale price maintenance, parity obligations, and dual distribution. Joined by Grace Karabinus (Baker & Miller PLLC), and Cyriel Ruers (Maverick Advocaten NV), moderated by Hans Jørgen Langeland (Advokatfirmaet CLP DA), the panel provided to participants valuable insights into how these critical themes are interpreted and enforced across the EU, USA, and the Western Balkans, with a special focus on the application in digital markets.
