BDK Advokati’s counsel Bisera Andrijašević and junior associate Anja Gligorević authored the chapter on Serbia featured among 19 jurisdictions in the 2021 edition of the Chambers’ Global Practice Guide on Life Sciences.
The Serbian chapter gives an overview of the regulatory regime for the life sciences sector in Serbia, offering information on the topics such as the challenging the decisions of regulatory bodies, conduct of clinical trials and related data protection issues, the marketing, manufacturing and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, pricing of medicines, digital healthcare, and patents. The chapter also analyses the developments related to COVID-19 crises, which has exerted a unique pressure on the pharmaceutical industry in the past year.
