BDK Advokati advises Farmalogist in connection with the EBRD loan for logistics upgrade

BDK Advokati acted as legal advisor to Farmalogist, the leading pharmaceutical distribution company in the Western Balkans, in connection with the EUR 14 million financing package provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to support the construction of a new, energy-efficient logistics centre in Belgrade.

The transaction, which includes EUR 1.2 million in concessional financing from the Global Environment Fund (GEF), will enable Farmalogist to centralise and automate its warehousing and handling operations, significantly enhancing capacity, sustainability, and operational efficiency. The project is largely aligned with the EBRD’s Green Economy Transition objectives and incorporates circular economy principles, including renewable energy deployment and waste reduction initiatives.

The new logistics centre is expected to meet energy performance standards above national requirements and contribute to the company’s long-term sustainability goals, reinforcing Farmalogist’s role as a key partner in strengthening pharmaceutical supply chains in the region.

The BDK team was led by the senior partner Dragoljub Sretenović.
