Midea Group successfully completed its acquisition of ARBONIA climate, a division of Arbonia AG, for an enterprise value of EUR 760 million.
Midea Group is a global technology enterprise encompassing smart home, industrial technology, building technology, robotics and automation, healthcare, and smart logistics. It has been listed in the Fortune Global 500 for nine consecutive years. Its business spans over 200 countries and regions, with 33 R&D centers, and 43 major manufacturing bases globally.
ARBONIA climate is part of the Swiss listed group Arbonia AG, a focused building supplier. ARBONIA climate develops and produces energy-efficient indoor climate systems for buildings of all kinds. It employs around 3,200 people at its eight production sites and development competence centers throughout Europe and its international sales offices.
