BDK Advokati has entered in North Macedonia into a cooperation with a locally qualified independent attorney at law Josif Filipovski. This move will allow us to extend to yet another jurisdiction the offering of our expertise and the quality of service our clients are used to. Josif is a corporate and commercial lawyer based in Skopje, with 8 years of experience in advising clients on a wide range of issues of relevance to their business operations in North Macedonia. Apart from his native Macedonian, he is fluent in English, Serbian, and Slovenian.
We have also widened our cooperation with local lawyers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, strengthening our capacity to serve clients in that jurisdiction. We welcome to the pool of our partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina Melika Bašić, an independent attorney at law established in Sarajevo. Melika is a corporate and commercial lawyer who started her career in the legal department of a Big 4 accountancy firm in Sarajevo, where she quickly became the youngest manager and first female in that role.
We are excited to enter 2025 with the new professional cooperations which will allow us to provide uniform service to our clients in four Western Balkans countries: Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia.
