BDK Advokati participated in RES SERBIA 2025 Conference, held on 17-18 September in Vrdnik. The event gathered over 500 participants at the Vrdnička Kula ethno-complex to discuss critical developments in the renewable energy sector and the challenges and opportunities shaping its future in Serbia.
Our senior partner Dragoljub Sretenović moderated the panel “Financing RES Projects – is there enough money for the green energy transition and under what conditions?“. Together with Slobodan Latinović (Erste Group bank AG), Ivan Smiljković (ProCredit Bank), Tim Sheahan (Alcazar Energy), and Dejan Janjatović (NLB Komercijalna Bank), the panel examined the main factors affecting the bankability of renewable energy projects, permitting and grid connection challenges and their impact on financing and project development across all scales, the growing role of energy storage, and the need for a supportive regulatory framework to facilitate successful project development.
