Bogdan Ivanišević, partner and head of BDK’s Intellectual Property practice, and Marko Popović, associate, authored an article on trademark tarnishment for ECTA Daily, a bulletin published during ECTA’s 35th Annual Conference held in Dubrovnik from 22-25 June 2016. ECTA – European Communities Trade Mark Association – is an association promoting the knowledge and professionalism of members and owners in the fields of trademarks, designs, copyrights and other Intellectual Property rights, within the European Union. Bogdan and Marko compared the legal regimes in the EU and the US concerning trademark tarnishment, with a focus on evidentiary standards for proving tarnishment. Download the article here.
