Two Turkish investor families around Mr. Baran Celik and Mr. Nuvit Gundemir signed the sale and purchase agreement with insolvency administrator Dr. Jan Markus Plathner to acquire large parts of Veritas Group, an insolvent automotive and industrial supply company based in Germany. The transaction was carried out as an asset deal.
The acquisition includes three German plants and subsidiaries in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, China, Hungary and Turkey.
BDK Advokati advised investor families on the Bosnian aspects of the acquisition. The team was led by senior partner Vladimir Dašić, and included senior associate Dijana Pejić Šinik and associates Nikolina Bajić and Sanja Dedović.
